FoxESS batteries are compatible with most modern hybrid inverters, but not every battery works with every inverter. In some cases a new hybrid inverter is required — we will always advise you upfront.
Does FoxESS qualify for the SA Home Battery Scheme rebate?
Yes — FoxESS batteries are eligible for the South Australian Home Battery Scheme (Virtual Power Plant) rebate when installed by an approved installer. Makn Energy is an approved installer. The rebate amount depends on battery capacity and your VPP participation. We handle all the paperwork on your behalf.
How long does a FoxESS battery installation take?
A standard FoxESS battery-only installation typically takes one day. If a new hybrid inverter is also required, allow one to two days. Our team handles the full installation including grid connection notification to SA Power Networks — you do not need to arrange anything separately.
What capacity FoxESS battery do I need?
